1999 – Decided to venture into the rice business with the blessings of Sri Hansraj Ji Maharaj, from Rishikesh
1999 – Mr Ved Prakash Kansal along with his two sons Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and Mr. Rajesh Kumar started trading rice under the firm name Guru Kirpa Rice
1999 onwards -Mr Sanjeev and Mr Rajesh started establishing their market in India by travelling and trading across the length and breadth of the country
2012 – Decided to expand in Patiala with their nephew Mr Sachin Kansal & Mr. Akhil Kansal
2014 – With the thought to modernize trade launched a brand, and named it k-73 which today is a symbol of trust amongst customers
2018 – Nikhil Kansal after graduating began his journey in the family business by setting up a rice processing plant and ensuring that the benchmark for quality gets lifted higher
Today Guru Sharnam Chawal Udyog has a Pan Indian presence, running its own Retail & Wholesale outlets with own processing, packing and forwarding plants
